CCSE Task 1 test: government, law and civic participation
Task 1 is the longest in the CCSE: 120 questions in the official bank and 10 in the real exam (40% of the total). Master it well and you've already won a lot.
What this task covers
Task 1 covers everything about Spain's government and political organisation: the 1978 Constitution, the three powers of the State (executive, legislative, judicial), the king and parliamentary monarchy, the Cortes Generales, the Prime Minister, political parties, elections, the autonomous communities, the public administration and civic participation. It's the broadest block, so it's worth starting here.

How to prepare it
With 120 questions, don't try to memorise them all at once. Split into sub-topics: institutions (40), Constitution (30), elections and parties (20), territorial organisation (20) and administration (10). Spend 2-3 thirty-minute sessions per sub-topic. Go back to those you miss. Repetition works especially well here because there are many specific facts.
